Healthy habits start from a young age, and it’s never too early to teach your toddler to master the bathroom. Learning the basics of healthy hygiene can begin as soon as your child is old enough to hold a toothbrush or go on the potty. P&G and Walmart are here to help make the experience easy and fun with cleaning and personal care Bathroom Buddies from Pampers, Oral-B and Charmin that are designed specifically for your little ones!
When Hannah does show signs (i.e. telling me she has to go, that she has gone versus lying about what I find in her diaper), I will definitely use the handy charts below:
I'll also use the Today's Parent Milestones app. For parents with toddlers there are articles, brush buddy (which makes interesting songs to ensure kids are brushing long enough), potty pal (Dora & Diego lead children through the steps of using the toilet) and a nap tracker.
One lucky YYZ Bambina reader has the chance to win the P&G Bathroom Buddies prize pack! This giveaway is valued at $87* and includes:

Don't push potty training, and make brushing teeth fun (and start the tooth routine early)
ReplyDeleteHave fun, let it be light, don't force anything :) and use rewards.
ReplyDeletelots of patience and reward the accomplishments

ReplyDeleteMy only tip is to include toddler in the routine from the start. Let them see parents and siblings washing hands and brushing teeth regularly so they want to imitate. Then work up to their ability. First do it for them, then holding their hand, then letting them try alone...
