Mark your calendars for delicious Taste of Buffalo (#BuffaloForReal)

Imagine a street full of delightful foods, deserts and drinks (wine slush anyone?). Such is the Taste of Buffalo - one of America's largest food festivals. We were lucky enough to be there the weekend it was held this summer. The countdown is already on for 2014 - only 352 more days!

Chris and I headed to the Taste of Buffalo before we went to the Buffalo Bisons game.

After checking out the website, I didn't really know what to expect. What we discovered was incredible tasting food at a great price, friendly people, short line-ups and hot music to match the weather. There were couples, families and groups of friends.

Chris was after Buffalo Wings (when in Rome...) and was quite happy with the Boneless Wings we got from the Zebb's Delux Grill and Bar tent.

My highlight was chocolate covered strawberries from Landies Candies.

Taste of Buffalo tickets are $0.50 each, and most items are 4 to 8 tickets - quite the steal when you think about it!

The only issue I had was choosing what to get. Which is why getting samples is a great way to go - mouthfuls of food leaves space in your stomach for more choices!
