New Board Books from Raincoast Books are unique, colourful and fun (#Review & #Giveaway)

One of my favourite things to do with Hannah is read her books. I love using funny voices for different characters. I like asking her to find me things on the page. But mostly, I love that before I can say, "The End"; she says, "AGAIN!"

We recently received some new Board Book titles from Raincoast Books. Hannah's favourites are Peek-A-Zoo! by Nina Laden and A Tree For All Seasons by Maryse Guittet.

Peek-A-Zoo is a small board book with cut-outs and rhymes (with zoo...such as cockatoo). Hannah's favourite page is the last one, that deals with feeding an interesting animal.

A Tree For All Seasons is a colourful book shaped like a tree. As you go through the book learning about each season there are flaps for the child to open. Hannah likes opening the flaps of all the seasons, but especially the fall when she reveals an owl and hoots like one.

Have you or your child ever wondered what an elephant would look like with frog legs? By reading Daddy Wrong Legs by Nina Laden you and your child will wonder no more. A colourful book that teaches matching can also result in fits of silly giggles.

The "You Are My Baby" series by Lorena Siminovich are two books in one. The smaller book is about baby animals while the larger one is about traits of the grown animals. Hannah's favourite from this series is the Farm book - again because she likes to make the noises of the animals as we read. She's unsure of Ocean and Garden noises, but likes pointing out and naming those creatures all the same. You can also get your child to match the baby with their parent.

Hannah is quite rough on her books at times, and these books have be dropped, flipped and flapped - and still look brand new.

All of the books are available at major retailers across Canada and at Amazon.ca.
