Shop Walmart for P&G products to give #CleanWater to those in developing countries #PGmom #Giveaway

Hannah loves water. She loves to drink it. She loves to swim in it. She loves bath time. As Canadians, we often take for granted that clean water is just turing a tap away. Others around the world are not so lucky.

Approximately one billion people do not have clean drinking water, many of which are children in the developing world. As a result, thousands of children die every day. The P&G Children’s Safe Drinking Water (CSDW) Program helps provide clean drinking water to these people through a water purifying technology developed by P&G. One small P&G purification packet quickly turns 10 litres of dirty, potentially deadly water into clean, drinkable water.

Nearly 7 billion litres of clean drinking water have been provided by humanitarian organizations across the globe using P&G packets, helping to save an estimated 39,000 lives in more than 75 countries.

For the month of April, for every P&G product purchased at Walmart in store or Walmart.ca, P&G will donate one day of clean water to CSDW to help a child in need. Walmart shoppers across the Canada can make a special difference in someone’s life just by doing their regular weekly shop for their family.

Good Deeds in the Month of April

My family is participating in the Clean Water Family Challenge. Small gestures can make a big difference in the lives of someone else. Whether it's holding doors open for strangers, donating gently used toys and books to the local daycare, buying coffee for the person in line after you or buying products at Walmart during the Clean Water campaign!

Join me at the #CleanWater Twitter Party!

On Tuesday, April 15th from 8-9 p.m., join moderators @Listen2Lena, @FeistyFrugal, @SassyModernMom, @Shasherslife and special guest Jason Priestley(@Jason_Priestley) at the #CleanWater Twitter chat.  This Twitter chat will be all about the importance of #CleanWater globally and how Canadians can help provide #CleanWater to those who need it!

  20. This really made me think! Since having kids I feel like I have become self absorbed. I used to volunteer lots and help out but now I don't feel I have the time or ability to. I do serve on a board of a local not for profit which I know isn't a good deed per say, but it does help those I am serving. I am going to do a random act of kindness this week - you have inspired me!
